The waitlist should be clear about data use.
This privacy page covers the information collected through the EVIT Summer of Code site and waitlist form, why it is collected, and how it is handled.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, EVIT SOC may collect the information you submit, including your name, email address, phone number, city, state or region, current education level, track interest, experience level, why you want to join, optional profile URLs, source page, referral data, and campaign parameters.
Why we collect it
The information is used to manage waitlist submissions, understand learner interest, communicate program updates, and handle next-step information related to EVIT Summer of Code.
How it is stored
Waitlist submissions are processed through server-controlled logic and stored in Supabase. Browser-side direct inserts are not used for waitlist writes.
How we use communication consent
The consent checkbox is required for waitlist communication. If you submit the form, you are allowing EVIT SOC to contact you about this program using the details you shared.
Third-party services
This project uses Supabase for backend data storage and may be deployed using infrastructure such as Vercel and Cloudflare, in line with the broader EVIT stack.
Your choices
If you need your waitlist data updated or removed, contact the EVIT team through the official channels associated with the EVIT ecosystem.
